Making Of Video: High Dynamic Range Photo

Written on Thursday 15.04.2010 10:06 AM By: Red Bull Illume

Usually in photography there are limits regarding exposure. If there are really light or dark parts in a photo, the photographer has to decide what part to expose.

With a High Dynamic Range (HDR) photo, a range of exposures can be set to get a maximum of contrast and colors in the picture. The end effect can make the photo look hyper real or just more natural.

Red Bull Illume went along to a lifestyle shoot to find out how it’s done.
