It's a Small World: Leica Launch V-Lux 20

Leica have launched their first superzoom compact camera; the V-Lux 20. The camera boasts a 12x optical zoom, a 12.1MP sensor and its high performance lens has a focal range of 25-300mm, which Leica say makes it ideal for almost any photographic situation.

Other features such as integrated image stabilization, innovative GPS geo-tagging and HD video recording mean the camera is intended as a universal camera for everyday use.

The look follows true to Leica's classic design style mixed with modern features.

Leica product manager Peter Kruschewski says the manual settings options "offer more ambitious photographers who prefer to have absolute creative control over their pictures everything they could ever wish for."
