Twenty judges from 14 countries have confirmed their participation in the Red Bull Illume Image Quest 2010 and can be announced.

They will make up a select panel of photo editors from around the world who have the difficult task of selecting category finalists and winners.

So far the panel includes Grant Scott of Professional Photographer magazine (UK), Dylan Doubt of Color Magazine (Canada), Giovanna Calvenzi of Sportweek (Italy), Andy Clark of Reuters (Canada) and Corinne Tāche-Berther from Switzerland's 7Sky Magazine (Switzerland).

Photo editors have a unique perspective on images and know what is required for a great shot. Although most of their working day is spent looking at photos, the judges are nonetheless excited about getting involved with Red Bull Illume.

"It's an amazing project," says Corinne Tāche-Berther, while Grant Scott says he is interested in Red Bull Illume because of, "its commitment to photography on an international platform."

The judges will base their decisions on a mix of technical superiority, composition, creativity, impact, artistic flair and overall qualities of photographic excellence.
