Pre-selection phase approaching completion!

The pre-selection phase for the world’s best action and adventure sports images is nearly over. Details are now being finalized by the pre-selection panel which is comprised of members of the Red Bull Illume team and Red Bull Photofiles.

Just 250 photos - 25 in each of the 10 categories - will be selected from the 22,764 images submitted to progress to Round One.

A panel of over 50 international photo editors will then judge the 250 images and select their favorite five photos to progress to Round Two.

To help the judges make their decisions, a special Judge's Book will be produced, with all 250 images printed anonymously to maintain impartiality. Round One is expected to be completed by mid April.
