New Culture Category for Red Bull Illume 2010

Every sport comes with a very special and unique lifestyle, culture and sound. To give this essential part of action and adventure sports the attention it deserves, we have created a brand new category for Red Bull Illume 2010: Culture.

The category is defined as follows: Images that visually capture the creativity of the culture, music and lifestyle that surrounds action and freesports, or represents what happens before, between, and after the action.

We want to see the best behind-the-scene shots, sweaty impressions from the wildest concerts and parties in the action and adventure sport scene, tough athletes in chillout mode, the tension before the event that most people don't get to see, and anything else that gives the viewer unexpected insights into a sports culture or the athletes’ lives.

Show us what sport is about and what it means to you. Submit to Red Bull Illume on the official website between October 1, 2009 and January 31, 2010.
