Judging Phase Update

The Image Quest 2010 is moving closer to finding its winners as the Judges' Book is currently being pressed and our jury panel of 53 judges are primed to begin voting.

The limited edition book and contains 250 photos pre-selected by a team of Red Bull Illume and Red Bull Photofiles members and will be distributed to the judges only. In order to preserve neutrality these photos are not credited, will not be made public and the photographers will not be informed of their status.

In round one of the judging process, judges vote via an online portal for their five favorite images in each of the ten categories.

The five shots in each category with the most votes progress to round two: the Final 50. From this selection judges are then asked to choose one photo in each category to be named as category winner.

An overall winner will be chosen and announced after a grand unveiling, the details of which are to be announced at a later date.
