Klaus Fengler

Born and raised in Northern Germany, I have now lived for over eighteen years in South Germany at the Bodensee/Langenrain. I am married, have two children, and worked for twelve years as a mechanical engineer at Siemens in Konstanz. For the past two and a half years I have been active as a freelance photographer. I have been in love with the mountains and the sport of climbing for over 24 years and have come to specialize in outdoor and outdoor sport photography.

My photos have appeared in calendars and in magazines such as GEO, Fit for Fun, Climbing, Rock & Ice, Mountain Climber, Mountain Sports, Alp, Alpine, Abenteuer & Reisen, and Desnivel. Other clients have included firms such as Sport Schuster, Deuter, VAUDE, Lowa, Haglöfs, Jack Wolfskin, Edelrid, Red Chili, ODLO, and Black Diamond. Over the past six years I have accompanied my friend Stefan Glowacz, one of the world’s leading climbers, on many expeditions, including journeys to Patagonia, Mexico, the United States, Kenya, and Greenland.
