My camera has been a gateway to experience the world, which I take full advantage of. After 12 years of riding BMX I started photographing the action, which greatly reduced my exposure to bodily injury. The camera and I instantly formed an unbreakable bond. From these beginnings I quickly rose to a senior contributor at DIG Magazine, the most influential and respected BMX action and culture outlet in the world as well as a member of Red Bull Photography.
While pursuing BMX work, I found myself shooting friends and musicians which soon grew into a new and equally passionate body of work. Though my images cover different realms, my imbedded vision remains consistent no matter what the subject matter.
I can’t stay still for very long, and it shows in my work. I prefer cold brew coffee over French press, the rewards of cooking over eating out, and plane tickets over possessions, with the one exception of my bicycle.
