I was born and raised on the east coast of Canada in New Brunswick. Growing up in a coastal environment instilled in me a need to explore and appreciate the natural world. After university in Northern Ontario, I migrated west to British Columbia in search of deep powder and bigger mountains and now call the outdoor paradise of Revelstoke home.
As cliché as it is, I simply love where I live. I've found the spot that feels like home and that brings me great happiness. My passion is being active in nature and when I'm not taking photographs I spend my time kayaking, biking, snowboarding, running and climbing.
I’ve worked full time as a professional mountain sports photographer for more than 15 years. Clients include Patagonia, Outdoor Research, Outside, Men’s Journal, Alpinist, Bike, Powder and Canoe and Kayak. Always on the hunt for exquisite light, moody scenes and unique angles, I’m intrigued by the subtle moments of the activities I pursue, as well as the cultural side of mountain sports.
