Harry Mills Wakley, gap to wall ride manual 180 in London. This was taken during a UK trip through London amidst the Covid lockdown restrictions. This was the first trip back for many after restrictions were eased for a short period of time. The week was hot, I mean seriously hot and us Brits like to moan at anything but I distinctly remember melting away on this trip. Sequence shots are actually one of my least favourite things to do. However, this trick was too good to go undocumented. It was time to try something a bit different. I have had this idea in my head for a while and this played the perfect part in creating "Cut & Paste" collage. I even kept a frame of Harry getting congratulated to the right and the floating head of Emerson our filmer in shot. It felt right to leave these in place, it's very roughly done but works aesthetically for me. You do you, as we like to say.
The wait is over and we can finally share the first new images of this year's Red Bull Illume Image Quest! Every week, we announce the semi-finalists of a different category, so stay tuned for more mind-blowing images.
