All Brazilian skaters are familiar with the architecture of Oscar Niemeyer - one of the most important architects in modern history: many of the contours of his buildings look like they must have been designed with skateability in mind. However, almost all of Niemeyer’s constructions are considered to be part of Brazilian national heritage and therefore off-limits, not just to skaters but to any non-pedestrian - specially this location - The National Congress building. Luckily the Oscar Niemeyer Foundation and the Congress president liked the idea of "Concrete Dreams Project" and authorised the shooting. All the security guys which use to ban skaters at this time were blocking the pedestrian and helping the shooting happen.
