– A great adventure and action photography shot for me is the capture of a unique moment that only happened once, for less than a second.
– I've just returned from a photo expedition on two wheels. A few months ago I bought my first motorcycle and this summer I found out that this is a great way to travel with a camera. I can see everything from my bike when I drive through the landscapes and it's easy to stop and take pictures. In a car things are are complicated. Combining two of my biggest passions – motorcycling and camera drones – has also been a big pleasure.
– This summer I found a lot of good locations by scouting on Instagram. I just searched for the places that I was going to and found so many eye-catching rivers, mountains, glaciers etc.
– I am very pleased to be a judge in the Red Bull Image Quest because the contributed images are so very spectacular. In fact, this is my favorite photography contest together with Wildlife Photographer of the Year. Every year, when the photos in the Red Bull Image Quest are presented, I get so excited to see so much talent and unique pictures from all over the world. Pictures you won't see anywhere else.
