In 1994 he came into contact with sports photography when he moved to Garmisch-Partenkirchen to become a nurse.
From 1999 on, he mainly worked as a snowboard photographer for companies such as K2, Red Bull and other outdoor brands. He also worked as a senior editor and photographer for the snowboard magazine “Powderhausen”.
Since 2005, he has been commissioned to develop and implement photo projects for customers such as the FIS Alpine World Ski Championships (2011 / Head Photographer) due to his extensive experience. Long-standing customers currently include the BMW Group, Audi, GaPa.de and Laax.
In 2017, his wife and son moved to A Coruña, Galicia, to take care of her parents. Since then he travels between Germany and Spain.
This was the first time he got a bit more into surf photography.
His focus is on documentation, PR and advertising photography.
