I am David Nogales Tarragó, a 27 year-old photographer born in Barcelona and raised in a small town called La Roca del Vallès. I have always loved sports, I grew up playing team sports and later started practicing snowboarding, biking and surfing.
I always felt a deep interest in photography; I was only a kid when I started shooting my family trips. My first camera arrived at Christmas when I was fourteen to help me immortalize the adventures with my friends. I studied and worked on many different things, only to find that they didn't fill my soul but allowed me to save money to buy equipment. I started buying an action cam and read articles and books to educate myself. When I had enough money I bought my first DSLR and I realised I wanted to make a living out of photography.
I like to think out of the box, being outdoors, traveling, meeting different kinds of people and learning from them. I continued shooting my friends at live concerts, freestyle rap battles and videoclips and every experience brought me to new ones.
Art has always been around me and outdoor photography is the perfect mix of all these things I love: sports, art, travel, action in a frame. Capturing an instance that is never going to happen again in the exact same circumstances.
