I grew up in Gleisdorf, a small town in Austria. After completing my apprenticeship as a carpenter, I realized that I wanted to focus on my passion: photography. That's why I quit, traveled a lot and spent 1,5 years in Schladming in the media department and photo studio for a board sports retailer. Now I'm back in Gleisdorf and set up my own photo studio, but still love to photograph sports outdoors.
I started taking photos in 2012. At first I did mostly landscape photos, but I used to skateboard a lot (and still do), so I got more into shooting skateboarding and other action sports. I'm really glad that I started with landscapes because it really influences my photography.
I always try to develop my skills as a photographer, to find a different perspective nobody would think of, and to photograph as many different sports as possible. However, skateboarding is and probably always will be my favourite subject to shoot.
