I was born in Hradec Králové, which is nicknamed the salon of the Czech Republic. Photography has fascinated me since the time my parents started trusting me with our holiday shots. I was gifted my first camera after a serious illness I had as a child. It was a children's camera in the shape of a tube, which looked like the traditional Czech candy. Then came the digital camera my sister got for her birthday. I was regularly stealing it from her to ride my bike and photograph the city. This led to my first photography success when my shot was shortlisted and exhibited in a photo contest for young photographers. Then I found out there is a photography high school, so the choice was clear.
At school, I got my first Canon EOS 200D digital camera. And ever since, I had spent my entire time shooting action sports, mostly BMX which I’ve also ridden.
Currently, I'm trying to invent new creative concepts and I combine various experimental photo techniques with sports. I'm still mostly focused on action sports in combination with lifestyle shots.
