Growing up as a vagabond of sorts, constantly moving and traveling has led to a serendipitous discovery of the camera. Currently residing in Bishop California, the gateway to the Eastern Sierra, has kept me moving through the mountains.
Much of my time in life has focused on chasing moments in one way or another. Searching for that defining space when one stops thinking and is just doing. Originally schooled as a biologist, this paired with a life in the mountains naturally results in work that explores the connection between people and the environment. The landscapes in which we play are imperative for humanity.
In this time of a rapidly changing climate, I strive to influence more conscious and progressive visual storytelling through both still photography and filmmaking. I’ve been grateful to work with a wide breathe of clients including Patagonia, Redbull and Audubon Magazine.
