I am an Australian cave diver who enjoys the challenge of capturing cave exploration as it happens. I move between dry caves and the weightless underwater world, taking images to share the underground sights with those who never leave the sunlight.
I’m based in Melbourne and have taken photos in underwater caves in every state in Australia. My portfolio spans huge blue tunnels in the West Australian desert, through sunny sinkholes in South Australian farmland to muddy streamway caves on the East Coast of the continent. Following in my cave diving parent's footsteps I have contributed to significant exploration projects both in Australia and overseas. My photos have been published in major Australian newspapers and National Geographic Magazine as well as caving and diving magazines.
I have been cave diving for a decade. Along the way I have won several photo competitions and enjoy giving presentations about the challenges and satisfaction of photography in extreme environments.
