I’m an aerialist and big wall climber living in the heart of Yosemite National Park. Since moving to the valley four years ago, I’ve helped with technical rigging on countless big wall ascents. My videography is featured in films such as Sasha DiGiulian’s Canadian Trilogy, Kevin Jorgeson’s Blue Collar, and Michaela Kiersch’s Necessary Evil. I received a Mechanical Engineering degree from California State Fullerton and applied that knowledge to a multitude of rigging scenarios. Whether it’s finding a new angle to shoot photos or establishing record-setting highlines, these skills have proved invaluable to my art. Most recently I’ve been pioneering new techniques for single push wall ascents by embarking on multi-day climbs and carrying materials to rig aerial silks in some of the most difficult to reach locations. I’ve also been part of the modern ‘boltless highline scene’ in Yosemite, establishing new lines with completely clean anchors (no permanent fixtures). I enjoy the friendships and challenges found in the mountains, and appreciate every opportunity to soak in the beauty of these special places. It brings me so much joy to be able to share these unique locations and fleeting moments with friends. I hope my art can help others experience the magic I find so abundantly thousands of meters above the ground.
