I was raised in the West Kootenay of British Columbia, where I fostered an early love for the outdoors. From skiing at age 2, I was quickly enthralled by the mountains, which led to mountain biking, snowboarding and dirt biking. As my interest in action and adventure sports grew, I began reading magazines and spent hours staring at the photographs printed on their pages.
I was gifted a camera as a high school graduation present, and quickly developed a keen interest in documenting my adventures while completing a degree in engineering. My photography passion eventually turned into a profession following graduation and has led to adventures around the globe. Along the way I've had my photos published in numerous publications, worked for a variety of commercial clients, competed in the Deep Summer photography contest during Crankworx and won the Pinkbike Photo of the Year.
I love to capture an athlete's interaction with the landscape. These incredible landscapes are what drew me to photography as a medium, and continue to inspire me for new adventures.
