I am a mountain biker, trail builder, and traveler, living life outside and sharing my passions with the world. I was born and raised in British Columbia's coastal mountains which led to a life of pursuing skiing and mountain bike adventures. By circumstance and mostly luck, I found myself immersed in the media side of mountain biking.
After years of working with many talented photographers and filmmakers on the action side of the lens, I was inspired to pick up a camera myself. Those same talented people let me pick their brains and patiently answered any technical questions I had on how to properly operate cameras and editing programs. Not only did they influence me to pick up a camera, they also helped to inspire me to build trails differently. I began to build trails with aesthetics in mind first, even if it was the much more difficult way to go.
I still spend plenty of time riding in front of a camera but these days I find myself increasingly behind a camera and shovel. I am forever grateful to all my friends that have helped to fuel this passion for learning and inspiring me on my journey into photography and film.
An extra special thanks to Justa Jeskova for the endless photography tutorials and motivation along the way.
