Born and raised in Queensland, Australia, I first picked up a camera for a ‘gap year’ in British Columbia, Canada. Coming to Canada with the intention to ride MTB and snowboard, it wasn’t long before injuries led me to picking up the camera more frequently. My fascination with light and colour soon became the primary reason for me going up the mountain or being out in the woods. 12 years later, I now call British Columbia home and have been shooting professionally for the last 6 years.
With a primary focus on photographing freeride and slopestyle mountain bike culture, I have been fortunate to travel to a number of countries around the world and shoot some very talented athletes in equally incredible landscapes. Whether I’m shooting action sports or not, I’m constantly inspired by my surroundings, new places, light, people and an inner need for improvement makes it hard to put my camera down.
