I'm a passionate action sports photographer, specifically in which the mountains are the playground, like skiing, snowboarding, biking, trail running, etc... I'm based in the Pyrenees Mountains in Spain, and I've been shooting for the last 10 years. I don't consider myself a professional photographer, since I don't make a living out of this, but I work for a few brands of the outdoor industry. Even though I have won a lot of national and international awards in the past years, my goal in photography is to be awarded in the Red Bull Illume Image Quest.

I'm an Italian boy that's been skating the entire Europe between races and adventures with my friends since 2012. In the 2015, I started to approach the real meaning of "creating content": I bought my first GoPro.
Yeah, it's not a real camera, it's just an action cam, but with a huge power. Since then, I've started to get more and more involved in the longboard community and developed a specific style on my photos, even when I did buy a "real" camera, I decided to keep going with the GoPros. It's not about the camera, it's all about the message.

I reside in Big Sky, MT. I moved out here in 2018 for a job filming at Big Sky Resort. I had never been or heard of the place, I just hopped on the plane and moved my life. The job was mostly filming on-mountain, creating social and long form content for the resort. Another important piece of information was that I had not snowboarded in 6 years prior to moving out here. I had to fake it till I made it, or I was probably going home. Long story short, I was able to pick up big mountain snowboarding and progress my on-mountain filming. I got to keep my job. As the years progressed, I got to meet awesome athletes and film crews like TGR, Warren Miller. Now, I only want to film for the action sports industry and will continue push myself to learn new skills while pushing the boundaries of content.

I am a mountain biker, trail builder, and traveler living life outside and sharing my passions and adventures with the world. I was born and raised in British Columbia's coastal mountains which led to me pursuing skiing and mountain biking adventures throughout my whole life. By circumstance, some luck, and a whole lot of randomness, I found myself immersed in the media side of mountain biking. 

After years of working with many ultra talented photographers and filmers, I was inspired to pick up a camera myself. More importantly, those same talented people let me pick their brains and patiently answered any technical questions I had on how to properly use cameras and editing programs. Not only did they influence me to pick up a camera, they also helped inspire me to build trails differently. I began to build trails with aesthetics in mind first, even if it was the much more difficult way to go.

I still spend a lot of time riding in front of the camera, but I'm also spending a lot more time behind a camera and shovel. I will forever be grateful to my friends that have helped to keep the passion alive and well. A special thanks to Justa Jeskova for all the photography and editing lessons and inspiration. 

I am in the sport since 2001 and part of the Red Bull Skydive Team since 2008.

I have been shooting full-time for about 5 years, usually next to the prestigious whitewater corridors of the wild west. But I enjoy shooting any sports that are gravity fed, they all have their differences in style and culture. Photography and video present an infinite world of creative potential and I intend to make my mark by doing just that-being creative. It's not all serious though, I enjoy making humor out of photo sessions and having laughs, but when it's game time- I am in the flow state. Nothing brings me more joy than nailing a shot. This contest, more than most, gets me motivated to go out and create as well as just be flat out inspired by the talent pool in extreme sports photography. On to the next frame!

As a former action sports photographer who traded bombing hills on a skateboard for an obsession with chasing the wind with a kite, the Skydio 2’s promises of “Impossible video. It does the flying, you do the doing” got me thinking... Could it be the tool I had always imagined for getting those long, dynamic tracking shots while riding with no pilot required and without the risk of crashing? 

Well, I can attest that I've had this drone out in some pretty dicey situations, and it never ceases to amaze me how well it handles them. Solo, 3rd person video-game style follow footage is now a reality and my long latent creative spark has been re-ignited by the pivot to videography and possibilities of utilising AI to get shots even FPV pilots would struggle with!

A self-taught photographer, born in Shillong, Meghalaya, which is in the North Eastern part of India. A place so diverse in nature, I started shooting 10 years ago and ever since, I've moved slowly from wedding to nature photography and then to storm chasing. However, I am always passionate about action sports, no matter which, and I am grateful to have made quite a few friends who try and pursue their dreams in action sports. 

In Shillong, we don't have that many action sports photographers. It is unlikely for most to even venture into this type of photography as work. But I always believe that there is room for a person to learn and improve one's self by not giving up on their dreams.

I’m a young photographer from France, living along the Coast of Hossegor. After 6 years of traveling I came back to France to experience the beauty of my own country, which I left when I was 18 years old. I live in the French Alps and started photography a few years ago, action sports is what brought me into it. I realised action sports is not only about the sport but also about creating something, for me that something was photography.

I was born in Innsbruck, the capital of Tyrol. I grew up in a small village called Inzing and therefore spent most of the time in nature. In my youth, I already discovered my passion for photography, never leaving my camera at home. Today, I spend most of my time hiking in the Tyrolean Alps to capture the most beautiful moments of nature. In addition to landscape photography, I'm also involved in street photography. Whether it's friends skateboarding or amongst of strangers, I always try to surprise unique angles. Using simple and clean photographs, I like to give the viewer the opportunity to recreate the mood at the moment the picture was taken.

I caught the photography bug at 13 years old when I stumbled upon an old camera in my family's attic. Skateboarding, a resolutely aesthetic practice, led me to discover the work of Glen E. Friedman, a pioneer of skateboard photography, which I still consider to be one of my most important influences today.

I've lived at the foot of Mont-Blanc my whole life, my passion for snowboarding evolved into mountain photography, which now represents a large part of my work. For more than three years now, I've devoted my winter seasons to capturing the antics of international athletes, accompanying them for the filming of their productions.

During my trips further afield, I enjoy observing new horizons and different lifestyles, giving me fresh new angles to see the world through my lens.

I'm a professional adventure and action sports photographer living in Bend, Oregon.  For the past four years I've spent my time traveling and capturing images of some of the best athletes in the world. When I'm not shooting photos, I enjoy outdoor sports, playing ice hockey, and watching Red Bull TV.

I started shooting with a film camera about 15 years ago. I practiced extreme sports a lot. First bike trials. Then I fell in love with climbing. At some point, I combined my two passions of sports and photography together.

I was born in Spain and grew up in a small village in the Pyrenees mountains, ten years ago I moved to the Balearic Islands and started freediving and taking photos underwater. I grew up on the remote north coast of Scotland in a town called Thurso, and moved to Whistler, Canada, in 2010 to chase the dream of living in the mountains and being a photographer in the outdoor industry. 11 years later and I've really reaped the benefits of that decision. Driven by the endless adventure and inspired by the mountainous landscapes, photography is a means to document the journey and inspire others to follow their own calling.

My name is Alex Voyer, I am 41 (2021), and a water photographer mainly based between France and my sailboat Diatomée.
I have been a freediving instructor for a dozen years, as well as going swimming in open and cold water. These passions led me to take photos underwater without using air tanks and exploring the oceans, from the poles to the tropics.
Far from being an ecological model, but living mostly on board and as a freediver, I try to be as respectful as possible with the marine environment.
Back in Paris, I am a local-adventure-activist, around Seine River and all the surrounding canals.

Born and raised in Gleisdorf, an idyllic region in Austria full of apple orchards, I have completed an apprenticeship in carpentry and studied at the Academy for Applied Photography in Graz, I took up work at the Blue Tomato Headquarters in Schladming, where I gained extensive experience in media work and photography.  Meanwhile, as a skateboarder myself, I have found my true passion in capturing outstanding moments in skateboarding and other action sports. Still, traces of my beginnings in landscape photography are visible in my works.
I always develop my skills as a photographer, trying new perspectives and moving out of my comfort zone, always pushing forward.

I'm a photographer and filmmaker from France who loves shooting every outdoor sport. I'm passionate about slacklining, I just melt in that sport with my love for rigging amazing lines and taking outstanding shots. I believe this sport is very aesthetic and can spread a lot of messages.

I’m an adventure and mountain sports photographer based in Scotland. My journey into photography began capturing images of the Scottish backcountry skiing scene, however since turning professional three years ago, I’ve expanded into shooting climbing, fell running and basically any sports which allow me to spend as much time out in the mountains as possible.
I find the creative process of trying to produce exciting images in tough and inhospitable environments really appealing. If it’s a particularly cold or wet day, then you’re fighting the conditions trying to look after yourself and keep your camera kit working; if the best position for a shot is half way up a cliff face, then you‘ve got to work through the logistics of getting to that position. I also love the‚ physical challenge – being fit enough to lug lots of camera gear around and stay motivated to keep pushing the shutter button even when you’re exhausted, maybe also a little scared, and overall would probably rather be any where but there. I think the combination of all these aspects is what draws me to this genre of photography over anything else.

I was born and raised in the small city of Togliatti. After graduating from a technical college as an electrician, I got a job at the Volga Automobile Plant and was able to buy my first camera.  Every weekend my friends and I went to the country park to go snowboarding. At that moment photography became more interesting to me than snowboarding. Later I started wakeboarding and I made new friends in that field.  Now I took pictures not only in winter, but also in summer.  Some time later I was noticed in the local media and was offered to work as a full-time photographer in the speedway club - “Mega Lada”.  Here I worked for 4 years and finally I decided that I should move on. In 2014 I moved to Moscow and in a few months I won the Russian Wake Awards in the category "Photographer of the Year". Same awards I got in 2015 and 2017. 
At the moment I live in Moscow and take part in all the significant sports and extreme events in Russia.

I was born on the Kamchatka Peninsula in Russia. This place is located in the north-east of our country. IM 42 years old. I have been engaged in photography for over 10 years. In the summer I shoot a lot on volcanoes and other interesting places in Kamchatka. In winter I work on organizing freeride tours in the mountains.

Hannes Tell is a German Photographer and Filmmaker, primarily working in the Outdoor industry and mountain related sports. He is a born child to the urban canyons of Berlin. Having escaped them in exchange for the steep rock faces of the Alps makes him long for a different perspective.

Hannes has the ability to seamlessly switch gears and shows sense for unique stories. So he is always on the search for the unique character to tell a story that touches everyone but is greater than the individual.

My name is David Muñoz, in 2018 I discovered the world of drones and from that moment I became addicted to filming action scenes with them. Over the years I have been perfecting my knowledge in electronics, assembly, configuration, and of course the most important thing, how to fly them. This has allowed me to meet amazing athletes and partners, who make it fun to shoot that shot I'm always looking for.

I was born in Tasmania in 1983, I got serious about photography around 2003, although I’ve always loved cameras and filming. It wasn’t until I borrowed a friends Canon EOS 5 that I fell in love with still photography, the quality amazed me! Shooting on 35mm slide film was a great and expensive test to learn the skills to become a photographer.

I specialise in action shots from the water. Surfing and kiteboarding are my passions, aerial stills and video are also a big part of my workload since 2013.
